About YRIG
Your Request Is Granted (YRIG), our grant ebook, was created by Brian McElhaney. Fast becoming a leading expert in grants, Brian has been very involved in the government grant community, both as a grant writer and as a grant application reviewer and project manager. Brian also has formal FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) sponsored training on investment justification writing and grant management.
Brian's expertise stems from his experience on both sides of the grant process. He has served on peer review panels that review grant applications from both non-profit and governmental applicants around California, and he has also written successful grant proposals.
At YRIG, our goal is to put you in the best position to request and receive grant money, either from government grant or foundation grant sources.
Message from Brian:
"With this book, I am able to share my specialized knowledge about why some grant applications succeed and why some fail. I have had the opportunity to be both the recipient of grant money and the distributor of grant money. This has given me a unique perspective on grants. I know how frustrating it can be for grant seekers to comply with complex rules and deadlines, as well as why it's so important to adhere to the grantor's standards. I know what goes on behind the scenes in a grant office, and in my grant ebook, I detail how best to write a winning grant proposal.
Your Request is Granted is a user-friendly guide to proposals, applications and grant management. It also offers insider tips on how to survive the grant application process. This straightforward, no-nonsense grant ebook details the process on both sides, provides real life examples and offers tips on how you can become successful in receiving grants." - Brian McElhaney
